The holiday season is officially upon us! This is probably my favorite time of year!

Walking outside just amazes me! The leaves, the colors, the air, the cooler temperature! It’s so refreshing! It may be crazy busy but, it’s a totally different busy! With all that being said… we are announcing our SECOND contest! The first one was so fun, and such a success, we are starting our next one!

One of my favorite things to do during this season, is pick a theme for my Christmas Tree and go all out decorating it! It’s so fun! And, I know Laura loves it because there are typically 3 different trees in her home! When we love something, we tend to obsess over it (Christmas trees, rings, each couples little story, purple…)

So, send us a picture of your masterpiece! Once you have finished decorating your tree send us a picture of you and your fiance in front of it! Then, we will pick the most awesome, unique, off the wall, inspiring, Christmas spirit-y, Christmas Tree!! The winner will once again get to choose a session of their dreams! Engagement, Bridal, After Session fun, Bedtime Stories, or just some fun where you and your fiance want to be models!

We need these works of art submitted by December 26th. That gives you PLENTY of time to think up, create, and show us what you came up with! Email all entries to info@fairytalephotography.com

I know you all have been patiently waiting for us to announce the winner of our very first contest…

Well… here it is!

Stephanie and Tylar were after our own hearts… This super cute couple dressed up as The Corpse Bride!

And because they were so cute, they win a FREE session! We are so excited! The first contest was such a success, you better believe there will be more to come! Just keep blogging and following us on Facebook… you never know when we’ll get the contest itch again!

Don’t worry blog world, I am not neglecting you! We have been a little crazy lately! But I will keep the updates coming soon! Laura and I are leaving Monday to go to New Orleans to learn a TON of stuff, and get to hang out with some super cool photographers!! So keep looking for the blog updates they will be on the way! I promise! You can hold me to it!

But, while we are away… we need to get those Halloween pictures in!! We want to have all the pictures submitted for the contest by November 5th!! So get those pictures emailed in! We will pick a winner by Saturday the 7th! We are so excited!

Our Very First Contest!!

Alright everyone, it’s about to be holiday season! So, in light of the holidays that are about to surround us, we thought we would have our very first Fairy Tale Photography Contest!

Here’s how it will work: I know a lot of you LOVE Halloween, and LOVE dressing up!! So we want to reward you! After Halloween, email us a picture of you and your fiance in your costumes! We will vote, and whoever has the all time, craziest, cookiest, most original costume will get…A FREE ENGAGEMENT SESSION!!! And, since that costume won you the free engagement session we will do some super fun pictures of the two of you in your costumes!!

I know what you’re thinking… “Lauren… what if I already had my engagement session!” Well… You can do a Bridal session. Or a Bedtime Stories session. Or an After Session. Or a Trash the Dress session… Pretty much, any session you desire!

We will make our decision by November 7th! And post our favorite costumes on the blog!

So, start thinking of what your rockin costume will be!!
