Lone Oak Winery in Burleson was the PERFECT location for this fall wedding. The weather was wonderful, sunset amazing, and the vineyard looks spectacular for October!!! These two live in Boston but had a “Destination Wedding” here in Texas for all their family and friends.

Going green is such a wonderful thing and for a couple to incorporate it into their wedding says so much about them! They did a “picture wall” that gave me happy goosebumps and they ROCKED out Hickory Street Annex. Their formals were fun and totally captured their wedding party. Chris even gave her a Coach purse the day of the wedding(a man after my own heart)!

Enjoy this environmentally friendly, Harley-Davidson loving, God worshiping, beautiful couple. Brittany’s Bridal image was used to advertise The Magnolia Hotel of Dallas in the Fall/Winter edition of Texas Wedding Guide Magazine!

Writing a blog can be so hard. I feel like letting the images tell the story but in the same breath, I know you weren’t there. This bride needs some words because she is as beautiful inside as she is outside(and that is pretty beautiful). Being there as she and Ryan got married filled my heart and soul with a feeling that can’t be written here because it’s just too big. AND you have to check out the fun the boys had!

We picked this first bridal image as our page 9 ad of The Knot Texas Magazine. Her beauty wows us!

A Bride’s Dad asked me at a client meeting the other day “what makes a wedding great?” I was stumped! We see hundreds of weddings a year, what makes a great one over a good one?!?!

As I thought about it, Joyce and Anthony came to mind. It wasn’t great because they were gorgeous, or that it was at The Four Seasons, it was great because of the personal touches and love they put into the details of their day. My favorite part? The quilt that was behind them at the head table. For Joyce’s bridal shower she had everyone bring cloth from all over the world and they sewed it together to make a quilt of love. They roller-bladed into the reception and instead of a first dance they sang a “first duet.” Practicing the song right before the wedding, they never peeked at each other. The trees in front of the reception were strung with family pictures. If I could draw hearts all over these two I would!

But wait… there’s the exit. You have to see to believe but yes, the whole wedding party jumped in the pool!!!!!!! So, don’t be afraid to do something unique and different on your special day. Just jump in!

So, you are planning your wedding. After your venue comes the wedding planner, photographer, then the florist, then cake, ect…. Start thinking of colors, talk to your planner, florist, and photographer about what will look the best and make your wedding come to life like it has been inside your head since you were little! It doesn’t have to be big but needs to reflect who you are! Details make all the difference in your album.

I really feel like I don’t need to say much about this gorgeous girl! She is my sunshine! I could literally spend the whole day with her and never stop smiling or laughing! I absolutely adore her!! She and her new husband, Seth, have the most amazing spirits, and personalities!!

Lately people have been asking me for amazing videographer suggestions… and I love that! If done right I think your wedding video can be absolutely amazing. Video has come so far from where it used to be, now a days it’s a whole new world!

The crazy awesome people at MediaBlend Studios have done something amazing… they are revolutionizing wedding videography into wedding cinematography… aka… you get to star in a movie on your wedding day! It’s pretty awesome. They have some of the most advanced equipment I’ve ever seen at a wedding… The “steady cam” is ridiculous! It adds a whole new element to your wedding “movie” that a lot of folks aren’t doing.

Monica and David (Wedding!!)

There are some weddings where I pack up my equipment at the end of the night, get in my car, and sadness hits me because I am truly so sad that their wedding has come and gone! I absolutely LOVED this couple from the very first time I met them! I met them at a Starbucks and could have sat there with them all night long! I felt like we had been friends for so long! Even as I was looking through their images to get them edited and ready I would bust out laughing or almost cry because I was so attached to them and their story! I could not be happier and feel more privileged to have been a part of their huge day! I feel so honored! Anyway, with the first picture… how could you NOT love them!

And you can tell their reception was Amaazing! I pretty much have the whole thriller dance frame by frame in our images! Hilarious! And, might I add, one of the best thriller dances I’ve ever seen!

Congratulations Monica and David! I can’t wait to see your story unfold together!
