I love decorating for Christmas, but because I was out of town for most of December, I didn’t get to decorate my place. Super sad about it! So, getting to see everyone’s Christmas tree was so amazing! And for all of you sharing your first Christmas together… I hope it was amazing, and crazy, and wonderful!

Anyway, on to the news… Jessica and Brantley are getting married May 16, 2010 and I CANNOT wait for their day! Their Christmas tree is HUGE!! And they made it look like a wonderful big jolly Santa Claus! So unique, and such a great idea! So, Congratulations Jessica and Brantley!!

When this is the way a shoot starts, you know it’s going to be a good one!! Karmann said that to me, and it pretty much made my day! I laughed so hard! And she meant it! They let me do just about anything! I got to experiment a little with some unconventional lighting, and they were all about it! I seriously can not wait for their day… it’s not until September, but it is going to be a REALLY good day!

These two were so much fun, and up for just about anything! And, if you’ve met me (Lauren) you know, I kind of obsess over rings! It’s a crazy obsession! But… LOOK AT HER RING!! Jeff did good!

We decided that we had some down time in between the ceremony and reception so we snuck Jeff and Lisa away to a really cool vineyard looking place and got to get some really romantic shots of them! This is the part where we tell them, “you go over there, and say Hi to each other” I mean really, you’ve been getting ready all day, so have you really had a chance to say hi? And then… we went over to Fairy Tale Manor, and partied for the rest of the night! They had a great group of people, and their reception was a BLAST!

Laura got to do a super fun engagement session with Holly and Chris yesterday! She has lovingly given them the name of “The Laughing Couple” Which, I must say makes for some of my favorite images! Laughter definitely translates through pictures and makes you just want to know what was so funny!!
